Friday night marked the conclusion of Bruce Springsteen Week on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, which was filled with several performances from the Telecaster-wielding front man often referred to, simply, as The Boss.

The last night of Springsteen Week was filled with three different performances from the famed Jersey-born guitarist-singer-songwriter. The last of the performances was a boisterous jam session that included several other notable musicians, including Tom Morello and The Roots.

The E Street Band, backed by Max Weinberg (who is also the former drummer/bandleader for the house band on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, a show formerly recorded in the same studio as Late Night with Jimmy Fallon) lead the musicians through each of the three performances.

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band performed two new singles from their upcoming album, Wrecking Ball, which included Death to My Hometown and Jack of All Trades.

Tom Morello, the lead guitar player for Rage Against the Machine, also known by his solo alter-ego as The Nightwatchman, performed alongside Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band the entire night.

Morello's signature guitar-solo squeals and quick runs along the high-end of the guitar neck were highlights of his guest appearance. The popular rock star and activist brought out his famed Arm the Homeless hippo guitar for the evening.

The Roots, who appear on the show every evening as the show's house band, joined in on the final song, when Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band played The E Street Shuffle with Tom Morello.

The jam session that closed the show caused Late Night to become a trending topic on Twitter. Fallon, who must have been watching at home, tweeted as the show aired:

'Death To My Hometown' by Bruce Springsteen was probably the hardest anyone has ever rocked on our show. #wreckingball, tweeted Fallon.

Moments later he followed up with another tweet: Right now -- turn on NBC and watch pure joy. Roots, Tom Morello and Bruce and the E Street band. #EstreetShuffle.
