Bruno Mars is already a superstar, but he also has idols of his own. The “24K Magic” singer recently gushed about British singer Adele.

In an interview with “Cubby & Carolina Bermudez In The Morning,” Mars opened up about the “Hello” singer, with whom he collaborated on the song “All I Ask.” “She’s incredible,” Mars said. “There was a moment when she was singing in the booth — and I’m not exaggerating at all — the water was vibrating… like you know that scene in ‘Jurassic Park?’ The water starts jiggling. She’s got some pipes on her, and she’s just a superstar.”

Mars also said that Adele is as firm with what she wants as she is talented. Sharing a moment from their recording session, Mars said the “When We Were Young” singer was a “diva” who voiced her opinions out, but when they finally settled on something she liked, they hit it off right away.

The admiration is mutual, though. Adele has also spoken about how impressed she is with Mars as a musician. In an interview with Vogue, the “Someone Like You” singer said: “I’ve always been a really big fan of Bruno. But when we worked together, he was beyond. He can do anything, literally singing the best vocals you’ve heard live in your life while he is playing a drum or a bass or doing some mad percussion riff. I think he definitely will be the biggest, biggest, biggest artist in the world.”

While Mars has expressed his intention to work with Adele again, he’s not closing his doors to other artists. The “Uptown Funk” singer has also reportedly talked about wanting to collaborate with Britney Spears, Rihanna and Beyoncé.

Mars’s latest record, “24K Magic,” will be out in stores Nov. 18. The first single from the album has already been released.
