And you thought North West was strange. Busy Philipps, star of the TBS comedy series, “Cougar Town,” confirmed to People magazine on Wednesday that she and her husband named their newborn daughter Cricket Pearl.

Cricket, born July 2, is the second daughter for the 34-year-old actress and her husband, screenwriter Marc Silverstein. Philipps commented on Twitter about the unique name choice. “It’s weird people think my kids will be in therapy because of their names. Guys, my kids will be [in] therapy for LOTS reasons, I’m sure,” she said.

A rep for Philipps said the baby was born a healthy 8.5 pounds and both mom are baby are “happy and healthy.” The actress' friend, comedian Paul F. Tompkins, tweeted that the child had remained nameless for a few days as the couple tried out “several names” before finally deciding on Cricket.

Previously, Philipps told People that 4 1/2-year-old Birdie Leigh was excited about becoming a big sister. “She’s actually incredibly helpful and she really understands things,” she said. “When I say like, ‘Mom can’t carry you right now because the baby in her tummy is pressing down on her bladder!’ She understands what that means and she’s cool with it.”

On Wednesday, the actress thanked well-wishers via her Twitter account. “Thank you for all the warm wishes for our new little ladybug! It’s been so sweet to read them all!"
