Announced on Tuesday, Calvin Harris will once again try to take over the summer when he releases his new album, “Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1,” in June. The Scottish producer will follow up his 2014 album with a star-studded LP that includes more 15 artists. Before the album releases, check out everything we know about it below:

The Album Will Release On June 30

More than two years after the release of his last album, “Motion,” Calvin Harris’ latest project, “Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1,” will release on June 30. Like his two previous albums, Harris’ vocals will take a backseat as he handles the production and lets a long list of guest stars handle the singing and rapping.

The Tracklist Will Feature Snoop Dogg, John Legend, Lil Yachty And More

Harris will once again work with a ton of artists for his next project, and this time, he’s bringing some of music’s biggest names with him. The producer will team up with Nicki Minaj, Future, Pharrell, Katy Perry, Big Sean, John Legend, Migos, Snoop Dogg, Lil Yachty, PartyNextDoor, Travis Scott, Kehlani and many more. “I worked with the greatest artists of our generation!!! I’m in the mixing stage now,” Harris tweeted in February. “I listen back and can’t believe what we created.”

Two Songs Have Already Been Released

In February, Harris teamed up with Frank Ocean and Migos for the track “Slide.” The producer followed that up a month later with the Pharrell, Young Thug and Ariana Grande-assisted single, “Heatstroke.” While Harris’ album will be feature-heavy, he told Zane Lowe of Beats 1 Radio that Pharrell tried to get him to sing again.

“Actually, Pharrell told me something about hitting the notes. Occasionally people try to persuade me to sing again, and he was one of those people. He said some of the most memorable and character voices, that we have, including himself, it’s not about hitting the notes, is it? It’s about getting the emotion and the feeling and the character across,” he said.

The Big Sean Track May Have Already Been Discussed

During the same interview with Zane Lowe, Harris revealed that Big Sean sent him an acapella track and asked him to finish it. The producer said Sean was working on the song for his album but the song in question didn’t end up on the rapper’s latest album “I Decided,” so there is a chance it will be on Harris’ record.

“BPM [beats per minute] was 130 but he wanted to speed it up, so I sped it up for a bit. Halftime, I mean I tell people it’s just music but it’s very different to what people would come to expect. I got to play a bass line on it, got to do things I used to be able to do. I really enjoyed that and I want to do more of that,” said Harris.

The Next Single May Feature Khalid And Future

In a promotional video for the album, Harris teased a new song featuring Future and singer Khalid. “I’ve been rolling on the freeway / I been riding 85 / I been thinking way too much / And I’m way to gone to drive,” sings Khalid. As the video nears its end, we hear Future rapping, “Caught a little jet lag but I’m golden / We deserve Grammys and some Oscars.”
