T-Mobile showcased Samsung's new 4G smartphone - Galaxy S Blaze - at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012. It is expected the battle between Samsung products is set to become fiercer, with the Galaxy S Blaze 4G targeting the hugely anticipated Galaxy S3.

Samsung is expected to extend their flagship version of Galaxy S2 to Galaxy S3, which should be announced during the Mobile World Congress, in Spain, on Feb. 28. On the other hand, the Galaxy S Blaze 4G is expected to be made available later this year.

The South Korean giant has already drawn a large margin, courtesy its latest Android flagship collaboration with Google Inc., - the Galaxy Nexus. In addition, it is speculated that the Galaxy S3 will have the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as its base, while neither T-Mobile nor Samsung have confirmed the same for the Galaxy S Blaze 4G.

Here are the rumored features of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy S Blaze 4G...

Display: The Samsung Galaxy S3 is expected to sport a 4.6-inch HD 1280 x 720 pixels Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touch-screen with 319 ppi density. On the other hand, the Galaxy S Blaze 4G will sport a 4.52-inch 800 x 480 pixels Super AMOLED display with about 206 ppi density.

Input Features: The input features which could accompany the Galaxy S3 include touch-sensitive controls, Corning Gorilla Glass, TouchWiz UI v4.0 or Touchwiz 5.0, an accelerometer, gyro and proximity sensor. The Blaze 4G will feature like touch-sensitive controls, TouchWiz UI, an accelerometer, a gyro, a compass and proximity sensor.

Processor: When it comes to processing power, the Samsung Galaxy S3 may feature a quad-core Exynos 4212/ Exyos 5250, 1.8GHz / 2GHz processor with 2GB RAM. As the name quad-core suggests, the processor has four cores over two but not in exile. Chip manufacturer Qualcomm has confirmed the availability of quad-core processors.

The Galaxy S Blaze 4G will come with a 1.5 GHz dual-core Scorpion CPU Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon chipset Adreno 220 GPU with 1GB RAM.

Operating System: The Samsung Galaxy Nexus already features the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and the Galaxy S3 is expected to be embedded with same operating system. Unfortunately, neither T-Mobile nor Samsung has confirmed the same for the Blaze 4G.

Memory: Both the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Blaze 4G will come in 16/32GB storage configurations with an external microSD card support that could be expandable up to 32GB.

Camera: The Samsung Galaxy S3 may feature a 12 megapixel 4000x3000 pixels camera along with features like autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and image stabilization features. The unit is expected to offer 1080p video recording capabilities, as well as a 2 megapixel secondary camera.

On the other side, the Galaxy S Blaze 4G will come with an 8 megapixel LED flash camera with features like geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and image stabilization. It is expected to offer 1080p video recording capabilities and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera.

4G LTE and NFC: Both smartphones are expected to come with 4G LTE support and Near Filed Communication (NFC) technology. However, the Galaxy S Blaze 4G will have T-Mobile's HSPA+ 42 data speeds.

Battery: According to rumors and leaked sources, the Galaxy S3 is expected to feature a 2250mAh battery. There is still no information about the battery in the Galaxy S Blaze 4G.
