If you weren’t already excited to see Tom Holland portray the next Peter Parker (A.K.A. Spider-Man) on the big screen, the actor is doing everything in his power to get people talking. Since being cast, the naturally athletic Holland has been posting videos of himself on Instagram practicing his moves.

The new version of the hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will make his debut in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War,” but information about his character, especially his costume, has been kept under a tight lock and key by the movie studio. However, that hasn’t stopped Holland from practicing to be the ultimate acrobat and showing his progress to fans.

In a new video posted to Instagram Tuesday, the 19-year-old actor tries out a side somersault in what appears to be the backyard of his home. Holland makes several failed attempts before finally landing the stunt and throwing his arms in the air in victory. Now that “Captain America: Civil War” has finished shooting, the actor is clearly doing a little prep work to get his body in Spidey condition ahead of his 2017 standalone film.

This is not the first time that Holland has used his Instagram to show off his skills. Whether it’s rock climbing or working with trampolines, the young man is clearly trying to show both Hollywood and comic book fans that he has what it takes to fill the wall-crawler’s rights. In fact, CinemaBlend reports that he even showed off his gymnastic abilities in his audition reel for the role, which likely helped him edge out the stiff competition for the heroic part.

Precious little is known about the MCU version of the Spider-Man character so far. After an allegedly leaked image of the character was recently debunked as some clever photoshop work, fans were back to square one in terms of advanced teasers for his role in “Captain America: Civil War.”

What we do know is that Holland will be playing a Peter Parker unlike the other Spider-Men moviegoers have met onscreen in past years. He will be a high school student when we meet him, having already had his powers for some time. Marisa Tomei will play Aunt May when his standalone film comes out on July 7, 2017, but no other news as to who Spidey will be fighting has been revealed.
