The Cleveland Cavaliers will play host to the Memphis Grizzlies at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Thursday, February 2, looking to even their regular-season series.

The Grizzlies prevailed in their previous meeting, 115-114.

The Cavaliers are coming off a 97-100 loss to the Miami Heat, while the Grizzlies picked up a 112-100 win over the Indiana Pacers.

Against the Heat, the Cavs were led by Evan Mobley's 19 points and seven rebounds.

Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland chipped in 16 points each in the aforementioned losing effort.

"They know who to key in on at that point," Cavs head coach J.B. Bickerstaff said. "But I thought (Mitchell) did a great job of creating separation and getting a shot off. I thought we got as good a look as we can at that point."

The Cavaliers are averaging 111.2 points per game with an offensive rating of 114.2.

However, the Cavs are doing their work on the defensive end, limiting opponents to 106.8 points per contest. They also lead the NBA in defensive rating with 109.6.

The Grizzlies, on the other hand, are hoping to ride the momentum of their win over the Pacers.

In that matchup, Memphis leaned on Jaren Jackson Jr., who finished with 28 points and eight rebounds.

Ja Morant chipped in a triple-double performance with 27 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds.

"We just accepted the challenge," Jackson stated. "We have to come out and compete every night. This is nothing new. We're just glad to be back home and get a nice win."

The Grizzlies are No. 7 in the league in most team points scored with an average of 116.7 points per contest with an offensive rating of 113.9.

Defensively, Memphis is limiting opponents to 112.3 points per game.

The Cavaliers are -2 favorites to halt the Memphis Grizzlies, who are at +2.

Meanwhile, the moneyline set for this encounter is -127 for Cleveland and +117 for Memphis.

The match will be telecast over TNT at 7:30 PM ET with live streaming available via the NBA League Pass.
