Chance The Rapper is once again looking to shake up the music world, this time by changing what gets played on the radio. Launched last year, the “No Problem” rapper has updated his Rapper Radio service to include more artists, leaderboards and the chance for fans to win prizes, including Chance merchandise.

The Rapper Radio website allows fans to search for their city which then brings up the major radio stations in the area. A search for New York brings up Hot 97.1, Power 105.1 and 103.5 KTU. Clicking on the radio station will then create a tweet for you that tags the radio station asking them to play the song of your choice. The songs currently available include Chance The Rapper’s “All Night,” DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One,” Jidenna’s “Bambi” and Linkin Park’s “Heavy.”

“Our goal is to make radio an accessible platform for artists with the popularity but not the necessary infrastructure to get spins,” Chance wrote in a series of tweets detailing the site’s changes. “We’ve been working the past few months to expand RapperRadio.com,” he continued. “We’ve added leaderboards for supporters and other artists’ singles.” In another tweet, Chance added that eventually he would like to have every artist available on the site.

Leaderboards on the site include the top 10 cities with the most requests, the top 10 stations and the top 10 fans who have made the most requests. According to another tweet from the rapper, the top three requesters of “I’m the One” will win Chance’s powder blue 3 hat, a horse hunting jacket or his Gucci belt from the music video.

Known for his independent status, Chance recently had to clear the air about a short-term deal he signed with Apple Music. In March, it was revealed the rapper signed a deal with Apple to exclusively stream his album, “Coloring Book.” Following backlash, the rapper took to Twitter to detail the contract.

“I never felt the need to correct folks on my relationship with @apple but now that more people have tried to discredit my independence, I wanna clear things up,” he tweeted. “@apple gave me half a mil and a commercial to post ‘Coloring Book’ exclusively on applemusic for 2 weeks.”

Chance went on to say that after the two weeks were up, he was able to put his record on SoundCloud for free. He added, “I needed the money and they’re all good people over there. I feel like if I didn’t clear it up people would keep trying to discredit all the work we did to make ‘Coloring Book’ what it became. I think artist can gain a lot from the streaming wars as long as they remain in control of their own product.”
