Frozen
“Frozen” is one of many kid-friendly movies airing on TV on Christmas Eve. Disney

If your Christmas Eve is spent with the TV, you’ll have plenty of options for holiday-themed programming. Several networks are showing movies and holiday episodes of TV shows that are perfect for Saturday, Dec. 24.

Those with kids will want to turn to Freeform to watch “Frozen” at 7 p.m., but movie lovers who prefer older classics can tune into “A Christmas Story” on TNT at 8 p.m. (which kicks off their nonstop loop of the movie that will play through Christmas Day). Beloved holiday films like “Elf,” “Love Actually,” “The Santa Clause” and more will also play throughout the day.

Holiday-themed TV shows will be on too. Pop will air “The Best Chrismukkah Ever” episode of “The O.C.” at 11 a.m. “Great British Baking Show” will have a special Christmas masterclass as well. Christmas episodes of “SpongeBob Squarepants,” “Friends,” “Doctor Who” and more are on the schedule too.
