Clinton Kelly rose to fame on the TLC show “What Not To Wear,” but he wasn’t sad to see it end. That’s because he couldn’t stand working with his co-star, fashionista Stacey London. On the series, which last more than a decade, the two got along swimmingly, but behind the scenes it was a different story. Kelly released his confessions in his new book, “I Hate Everyone, Except You,” which debuted Tuesday on bookshelves.

The former magazine editor, 47, had never seen the series before he auditioned. When he received a call back for the series, he thought London, 47, was “mean-spirited and judgmental” toward makeover subjects.

Kelly, who is currently a host on “The Chew,” had a tumultuous relationship with his former co-host. “I either adored her or despised her and never anything in between,” Kelly wrote, according to Radar Online, adding: “We spent nearly sixty hours a week in captivity, rarely more than an arm’s length away from each other. Trust me when I tell you that is just too much time to spend with any other human being you didn’t choose of your own free will.”

One of the things that bothered Kelly the most about London is that she wanted as much attention as possible. “For that reason, and perhaps others, she received more attention than I did,” he penned. “Even though I rarely wanted attention, I found myself continually annoyed that she did.”

Kelly would be fine if he never saw London again. But there’s still a place in his heart for her. “There’s a part of me that will love Stacy London forever, and a part of me that would be just fine if I never saw her again for the rest of my life,” he wrote.

In the end, Kelly was happy he did the show. It made him “rich,” after all.
