Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Cisco, Comcast, GM: Earnings Reports To Watch, Feb. 11-15

Before the curtain falls on this earnings season, investors will hear next week from several more major players, including Cisco, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Comcast and General Motors.

Of the 317 companies in the S&P 500 that have reported earnings so far, 69 percent have exceeded analysts' expectations, above a 62 percent average since 1994 and 65 percent over the past four quarters, according to Thomson Reuters data.

Fourth-quarter earnings for S&P 500 companies rose 5 percent, according to the data, above a 1.9 percent forecast at the start of the earnings season.

We ran a screen and produced a list of 42 notable companies set to report their earnings Feb. 11-15. We have highlighted their expected reporting dates and times, along with analysts' earnings-per-share and revenue estimates from Reuters, as well as the stocks' past 12 months’ performances.

Monday Before Market Open, or BMO:

American Capital Ltd. (NASDAQ:ACAS) is an equity firm and global asset manager. The company has a market capitalization of $4.13 billion. It is expected to report FY 2012 fourth-quarter EPS of 25 cents on revenue of $147.77 million, compared with a profit of 67 cents a share on revenue of $160 million in the year-ago period. American Capital is trading at around $13.08 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has gained 53.7 percent.

Radian Group Inc. (NYSE:RDN) is a credit enhancement company with a focus on domestic, first-lien residential mortgage insurance. The company has a market capitalization of $919.46 million. It is expected to report a loss of 50 cents a share in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2012 on revenue of $200.03 million, compared with a loss of 92 cents a share on revenue of $184.41 million in the year-ago period. Radian Group is trading at around $6.88 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has gained 124.8 percent.

Monday After Market Close, or AMC:

Masco Corporation (NYSE:MAS) manufactures, distributes and installs home improvement and building products. The company has a market capitalization of $6.38 billion. It is expected to report a loss of 1 cent a share in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2012 on revenue of $1.8 billion, compared with a loss of 9 cents a share on revenue of $1.74 billion in the year-ago period. Masco Corporation is trading at around $17.86 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has gained 38.2 percent.

Tuesday BMO:

Avon Products, Inc. (NYSE:AVP) is a manufacturer and marketer of beauty and related products. The company has a market capitalization of $7.47 billion. It is expected to report FY 2012 fourth-quarter EPS of 27 cents on revenue of $3 billion, compared with a profit of 39 cents a share on revenue of $3.04 billion in the year-ago period. Avon Products is trading at around $17.28 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has lost 6.7 percent.

Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE:MMC) is a global professional services firm providing advice and solutions in the areas of risk, strategy and human capital. The company has a market capitalization of $19.9 billion. It is expected to report FY 2012 fourth-quarter EPS of 52 cents on revenue of $3 billion, compared with a profit of 46 cents a share on revenue of $2.91 billion in the year-ago period. Marsh & McLennan Companies is trading at around $36.56 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has gained 12.4 percent.

Michael Kors Holdings Ltd (NYSE:KORS) is a designer, marketer, distributor and retailer of branded women’s apparel and accessories and men’s apparel. The company has a market capitalization of $11.32 billion. It is expected to report FY 2013 third-quarter EPS of 41 cents on revenue of $540.3 million, compared with a profit of 20 cents a share on revenue of $373.61 million in the year-ago period. Michael Kors is trading at around $56.66 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has gained 74.3 percent.

The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO) is a beverage company. The company has a market capitalization of $174.52 billion. It is expected to report FY 2012 fourth-quarter EPS of 44 cents on revenue of $11.55 billion, compared with a profit of 39 cents a share on revenue of $11.04 billion in the year-ago period. The Coca-Cola Company is trading at around $38.91 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has gained 14.3 percent.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (NASDAQ:GT) is a manufacturer of tires. The company has a market capitalization of $3.31 billion. It is expected to report FY 2012 fourth-quarter EPS of 20 cents on revenue of $5.34 billion, compared with a profit of 3 cents a share on revenue of $5.68 billion in the year-ago period. The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is trading at around $13.53 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has lost 2.4 percent.

The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. (NYSE:MHP) is a global information services provider serving the financial, education, commercial and commodities markets. The company has a market capitalization of $12.17 billion. It is expected to report FY 2012 fourth-quarter EPS of 72 cents on revenue of $1.61 billion, compared with a profit of 63 cents a share on revenue of $1.52 billion in the year-ago period. Huntsman Corporation (NYSE:HUN) is a manufacturer of differentiated organic chemical products and of inorganic chemical products. The company has a market capitalization of $4.49 billion. It is expected to report FY 2012 fourth-quarter EPS of 23 cents on revenue of $2.49 billion, compared with a profit of 28 cents a share on revenue of $2.63 billion in the year-ago period. Huntsman Corporation is trading at around $18.73 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has gained 35.23 percent.

Tuesday AMC:

Clearwire Corporation (NASDAQ:CLWR) is a provider of fourth generation (4G), wireless broadband services. The company has a market capitalization of $4.67 billion. It is expected to report a loss of 22 cents a share in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2012 on revenue of $313.52 million, compared with a loss of 81 cents a share on revenue of $361.87 million in the year-ago period. Clearwire Corporation is trading at around $3.19 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has gained 76.2 percent.

The Western Union Company (NYSE:WU) is engaged in money movement and payment services. The company has a market capitalization of $8.71 billion. It is expected to report FY 2012 fourth-quarter EPS of 35 cents on revenue of $1.4 billion, compared with a profit of 39 cents a share on revenue of $1.43 billion in the year-ago period. The Western Union Company is trading at around $14.6 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has lost 26 percent.

Wednesday BMO:

Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA) is a provider of entertainment, information and communications products and services. The company has a market capitalization of $102.62 billion. It is expected to report FY 2012 fourth-quarter EPS of 53 cents on revenue of $16 billion, compared with a profit of 47 cents a share on revenue of $15.04 billion in the year-ago period. Comcast is trading at around $38.62 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has gained 42.3 percent.

Dean Foods Company (NYSE:DF) operates a food and beverage company. The company has a market capitalization of $3.47 billion. It is expected to report FY 2012 fourth-quarter EPS of 30 cents on revenue of $3.37 billion, compared with a profit of 27 cents a share on revenue of $3.3 billion in the year-ago period. Dean Foods Company is trading at around $18.75 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has gained 75.1 percent.

Deere & Company (NYSE:DE) along with its subsidiaries, operates in three segments: agriculture and turf segment, construction and forestry segment and financial services segment. Duke Energy Corp (NYSE:DUK) is an energy company. The company has a market capitalization of $48.62 billion. Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMAT) provides manufacturing equipment, services and software to the global semiconductor, flat panel display, solar photovoltaic and related industries. The company has a market capitalization of $15.93 billion. It is expected to report FY 2013 first-quarter EPS of 3 cents on revenue of $1.54 billion, compared with a profit of 18 cents a share on revenue of $2.19 billion in the year-ago period. Applied Materials is trading at around $13.3 a share. Over the past 12 months, the stock has gained 4 percent.

CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE:CTL) provides a range of communications services. The company has a market capitalization of $25.7 billion. It is expected to report FY 2012 fourth-quarter EPS of 68 cents on revenue of $4.59 billion, compared with a profit of 58 cents a share on revenue of $4.65 billion in the year-ago period. Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO) designs, manufactures, and sells Internet protocol-based networking and other products related to the communications and information technology industry and provide services associated with these products and their use. The company has a market capitalization of $112 billion. It is expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of 48 cents on revenue of $12.06 billion, compared with a profit of 47 cents a share on revenue of $11.53 billion in the year-ago period. NetApp Inc. (NASDAQ:NTAP) is a provider of storage systems and data management solutions for information technology infrastructures. The company has a market capitalization of $12.74 billion. It is expected to report FY 2013 third-quarter EPS of 56 cents on revenue of $1.62 billion, compared with a profit of 58 cents a share on revenue of $1.57 billion in the year-ago period. NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) is engaged in creating the graphics chips used in personal computers. The company has a market capitalization of $7.68 billion.
