Emmy-winning actress Cynthia Nixon, best-known for her role in “Sex and the City,” was married to Danny Mozes from 1988 to 2003 and the couple have two children together. Since 2004, Nixon has been in a relationship with a woman, Christine Marinoni."In terms of sexual orientation I don't really feel I've changed... I'd been with men all my life, and I'd never fallen in love with a woman. But when I did, it didn't seem so strange. Sex and the City actress Cynthia Nixon and her partner have had a baby boy, her publicist told People magazine on Tuesday.

Nixon's partner Christine Marinoni gave birth to a son on Monday. The couple have named him Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni.

Christine and baby are doing great, Nixon's publicist told the celebrity magazine.

Nixon, 44 and Marinoni, an education worker, have been dating since 2004 and announced their engagement in 2009.

Nixon, a prominent lesbian best known for playing workaholic lawyer Miranda in Sex and the City, has two children from a former marriage.
