Dallas Mavericks star, DeShawn Stevenson, arrested for public intoxication

TMZ first reported that Dallas Mavericks star DeShawn Stevenson was recently arrested for public intoxication. According to the person who called 911, Stevenson could not talk or walk straight.

The person who called authorities told the 911 operator that Stevenson was extremely loud and mumbling as he and another man banged on doors at an apartment complex. The two men did not live in that apartment complex.

This all went down in Texas on Tuesday. He was arrested for public intoxication and officers said he was a danger to himself and others.

He was released after posted the $475 bail.

The Dallas Mavericks just won the NBA Championship against Miami Heat. It was reported that the Mavs had an all-out celebration in Miami after their final game.

The team, who celebrated at Club Liv in Miami's Fountainbleau Hotel, rang up a $110,000 tab, which was picked up by the Mavericks owner Marc Cuban.

He told the New York Post that the celebration was worth every penny.
