Reports on Friday confirmed that "Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller will serve her jail sentence near her California residence, according to Entertainment Tonight. The dance coach's 366-day sentence will commence in less than a week.

Miller made a request to complete her jail stint near her San Bernardino, California home instead of in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she was initially charged for her crime. She will report to the FCI Victorville facility in Victorville, California on Wednesday, July 12 at 2 p.m. PST.

The reality television star was originally required to surrender June 30, according to a June report from ET. No confirmations were made regarding the reason for the delay, but Miller went on a media tour following the original sentence announcement. Miller spoke with Good Morning America in May about going to prison.

"A year and a day — it sounds like a movie title," Miller told GMA. "I’m just going to pretend that I am shooting a movie, and we’re on set, and I am there for 10 months, and that’s the way it’s gonna be."

A year and a day is a relatively short sentence for Miller's crime, as Deadline reported that law enforcement wanted her to serve 2.5 years in prison. Federal prosecutors believed that she consciously "intended to cause harm" to her creditors, but Miller blamed the fraud on her rising fame with Lifetime's "Dance Moms."

Miller, who is known for her controversial coaching practices, pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud and illegally smuggling $120,000 of Australian currency into the United States. She was charged with the crimes in May, according to ABC.

After completing her prison stretch, the "Dance Moms" host will be required to pay a $40,000 fine and finish a two-years probation period, according to ET. During her probation stint, she will also be ordered to live in a location that her probation officer declares as suitablE.

Miller will appear on "Dance Moms" during the second half of the show's seventh and final season, which is slated to debut August 1. It will air simultaneously as she serves her prison sentence.

The Lifetime program's seventh season promo showed Miller having an emotional breakdown over the legacy she built with Abby Lee Dance Center (ALDC).

"I created livelihoods for so many children," she said. "It was all going to end someday."

The arrival of replacement coaches, Laurieann Gibson and Cheryl Burke, caused a temporary shakeup amongst the ALDC crew. However, things became more problematic when former ALDC member Chloe Lukasiak joined a competing dance studio.

"I don’t need one of them. I don’t need any of them," Miller said. "I regret it. I regret it. Oh, I regret everything."

Maddie Ziegler, the most successful dancer to come from the "Dance Moms" series, was asked about Miller during a June interview with ET. Although Miller praised Ziegler in the past for her dance talents, Ziegler didn't have much to add.

"I don't really think I have anything to say about her," she said.

Lukasiak also didn't hesitate to throw shade at Miller in March, which doesn't come at a total shock since Lukasiak and her mother Christi Lukasiak have never been on good terms with the ALDC coach. At a dance competition, Lukasiak ended the group dance number by hitting center stage with her wrists in handcuffs, an obvious jab at Miller and her upcoming sentence.
