U.S. Congress
The votes on the debt ceiling deal that passed Congress Wednesday will likely have repercussions for the individual senators and representatives. REUTERS

After two weeks of a federal government shutdown and mounting concern that the U.S. might default on its debt obligation, the U.S. Congress passed a deal at the last moment Wednesday evening that extends the debt ceiling through Feb. 7 and keeps the government running until Jan. 15.

Though President Barack Obama said in remarks Thursday morning that "there are no winners" from this eleventh-hour way of avoiding financial crisis, the votes cast by individual members of Congress will have consequences for them, Republicans and Democrats alike.

For Republican senators and especially members of the House of Representatives, a vote against the deal could be seen by many conservative voters as a vote for their limited-government, anti-Obamacare priorities. Meanwhile, Democrats and GOP members of Congress in blue districts may be rewarded for having voted to restore funding to the government and extend the debt ceiling.

The politics of the deal are quite complicated, but the official roll call doesn't lie, and every member of Congress will be accountable for his or her vote on this important, yet controversial, measure.

Below is a breakdown of how every member of Congress voted, divided into senators and representatives.
