Deena Cortese has been released from jail after the Jersey Shore star was arrested on June 10.

A disheveled Deena Nicole Cortese was seen exiting a police station in Seaside Heights, N.J. on Sunday afternoon -- with her mother and father after having been hauled in by authorities for an alleged incident that took place over the weekend.

According to several news outlets, Cortese was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct for appearing intoxicated and slapping cars in the middle of the street as they drove by.

A statement from local police chief, Tommy Boyd, says that Cortese was observed a little intoxicated.

Cortese then reportedly started behaving inappropriately before police were forced to take her into custody. The Jersey Shore star was caught by police playing in traffic and slapping the sides of moving vehicles, according to the New York Daily News.

Boyd said it was nothing major, but we can't put up with it, according to the newspaper.

The MTV star was escorted to police headquarters as a result of her conduct, while taping the latest season of the popular show, which takes place in Seaside Heights, N.J.

She was served with a summons and released, with no bail required.

Nicole Snooki Polizzi had a similar arrest during filming of the series in 2010 for disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and criminal annoyance of others. Later that year, she was sentenced to pay a $500 fine and do community service for a disturbing the peace charge after the other two charges were dropped.
