Since the news broke of Ashton Kutcher's alleged affair with party girl Sara Leal on his wedding anniversary, all eyes (okay, all of mine) have been on Ashton and Demi's normally hyperactive Twitter feeds, searching for signs of life in their reportedly flailing marriage.

The maybe-estranged couple were in sync on Twitter for the first time Thursday since the scandal took over their lives -- though they still have not mentioned each other explictly in social media or elsewhere, they both tweeted affirmatively on the same subject, which is a story in itself: The Anonymous hacker ring has harnessed its sinister power for good, targeting a web hosting service with known ties to child pornography.

The service, Freedom Hosting, has been declared #OpDarknet Enemy Number One, Anonymous said in a press statement obtained by BRG.

The owners and operators at Freedom Hosting are openly supporting child pornography and enabling pedophiles to view innocent children, fueling their issues and putting children at risk of abduction, molestation, rape, and death, Anonymous wrote in the statement.

Although the hacktivist group accused Freedom Hosting of sharing a digital fingerprint with 95% of the child pornography listed on the Hidden Wiki, Anonymous expanded its threat to include any property hosting child pornography.

Our demands are simple, the statement continued. Remove all child pornography content from your servers. Refuse to provide hosting services to any website dealing with child pornography. This statement is not just aimed at Freedom Hosting, but everyone on the internet. It does not matter who you are, if we find you to be hosting, promoting, or supporting child pornography, you will become a target.

Anonymous has previously targeted Sony, Bank of America and Apple.

Both @aplusk and @mrskutcher tweeted a link to a Mashable article on the Anonymous attack on child pornography. Ashton tweeted at around midnight PST, and Demi Moore tweeted about three hours later -- suggesting she might have been following her husband's tweets (and was up really late, or early, depending what coast she's on).

Both Demi and Ashton have previously spoken out against child pornography, sex trafficking, and child prostitution.

According to Mashable, Anonymous has shut down access to Freedom Host clients, and removed pornographic content from the server.
