Deutsche Bank AG (DBKGn.DE) has agreed to sell Worldwide Plaza, a 1.8 million square-foot skyscraper in New York City, for $600 million to developer George Comfort & Sons and partner RCG Longview, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing two people familiar with the matter.

The sale price works out to roughly $330 a square foot and includes roughly $130 million in equity from the buyers and a $470 million mortgage from Deutsche Bank, the paper said.

According to the daily, the deal was struck on Friday and is set to close in late July.

Last month, a source told Reuters that the building was being sold to a group of investors led by RCG Longview and George Comfort & Sons.

Deutsche Bank and representatives from RCG Longview and George Comfort & Sons could not immediately be reached for comment by Reuters. (Reporting by Hezron Selvi in Bangalore and Ilaina Jonas in New York; Editing by Muralikumar Anantharaman)
