If the latest reports are to be believed, American video game developer Blizzard is set to release the highly anticipated and rumored dark fantasy/horror-themed action role-playing game Diablo III on April 17.

Recently, internet retailer Amazon listed the game on its site with an April 17 release date. The date, it seems, corresponds with what other sources have mentioned.

However, Blizzard has denied an April release for the game and insists that the game will arrive in the second quarter of 2012, according to a Gamesradar report.
