Nina Dobrev may have used social media to extend some well-wishes to her ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder on his wedding day. While some fans may have interpreted her post as just another optimistic image, it seems it could have been a message for her “The Vampire Diaries” co-star.

Somerhalder, who dated Dobrev from 2010 to 2013, married “Twilight” actress Nikki Reed on Sunday in Santa Monica, California, after nine months of dating. While several “Vampire Diaries” cast members (including Kat Graham, Matt Davis and Paul Wesley) were photographed at the ceremony, it isn’t clear if Dobrev was there.

Her message might indicate that she was at least with the couple in spirit, however. “Positivity. Love. Happiness,” Dobrev, 26, wrote on WhoSay. “That is what I'm sending out into the Universe, may your day be filled with it...[smile emoji] Namaste.”

She also posted an image with a quote from Buddha: “Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind, they can change our world.”

Dobrev and Somerhalder, 36, have been furiously denying rumors that they’re feuding in recent months. Many claimed that the exes were having trouble getting along after Somerhalder announced his engagement to Reed, 26, in January. Once the Canadian actress revealed that she would leave “The Vampire Diaries” after Season 6, fans worried that their personal relationship was damaging the show. The speculation has caused both actors to assure their fans that they remain friendly.

Last week, Dobrev posted photos of them goofing around between takes during their last scene together on “The Vampire Diaries.” Earlier, Somerhalder directly addressed the rumors by posting an article that said the actress’ departure had nothing to do with him. He tweeted the link and called it a “very informed article.”

Somerhalder may have gotten his dream wedding, but there has been no word if the actors’ characters, Elena and Damon, will get a similar ceremony on “The Vampire Diaries.” Since Dobrev is leaving the show, and Somerhalder is sticking around for Season 7, it seems unlikely. Executive producer Julie Plec didn’t drop any hints about a Delena wedding, but she did share her well-wishes for Somerhalder and Reed.
