Did Selena Gomez, Niall Horan Break Up? Justin Bieber's Former Girlfriend And Horan 'Not Dating Right Now'

Selena Gomez and Niall Horan seem to have hit the pause button on their relationship and are spending some time away from each other, Hollywood Life reported. The One Direction band member is a close friend of Gomez's former boyfriend Justin Bieber, and the two were first reported to be dating in December.

“Niall is happy to wait and not have her worry about things and if they hang out and hook up again he will be OK with the friends with benefits things as well,” a source told Hollywood Life, adding: “He is really taking things very well and believing it will all work out to his advantage in the long run. So they are not dating right now but it is certainly not out of the woods in the future.”

Another source reportedly said: “If it can only be a friendship right now he is happy with that moving forward. Niall believes that something can happen with Selena once they have better schedules to see each other more often.”

The report by Hollywood Life said that Horan and Gomez may get some time together early winter as One Direction is currently on a hiatus and The "Good For You" singer is set to begin with her world tour only on May 6. Gomez began the year with her girlfriends in Costa Rica while Horan was back in London.

The dating rumors began after Horan and Gomez were seen getting cozy during Jenna Dewan Tatum's birthday party. The rumored couple was also reportedly seen the next day in Santa Monica Pier, spending time with their friends.

According to a report at the time by Us Weekly, Santa Monica Pier was the place where Bieber and Gomez had their first public outing together in 2011. Bieber is currently dating model Hailey Baldwin and was seen getting close with her in several photos.
