Dina Lohan's Long Island home was ravaged by Hurricane Sandy, according to reports from TMZ.

Lindsay Lohan was not in the Syosset, N.Y., home at the time; instead she was stuck in Manhattan with her little brother Michael Jr. All tunnels and roads were closed from Manhattan to Long Island during the hurricane, but Lohan is expecting to reunite with the rest of her family shortly.

Lindsay Lohan was widely criticized after she sent out a tweet minimizing the storm, but in her defense it was not known at the time if the hurricane was going to turn out to be the "Perfect Storm" meterologists warned about.

Since the storm Lohan has not tweeted, except to say that the last tweet was not from her. According to Lohan, her Twitter account was hacked.

Though it wasn't hit nearly as bad as New Jersey, Long Island was left severely damaged. Trees have fallen everywhere, with some people being trapped on their streets with nowhere out.

Dina Lohan's home was no different.

As shown in photos obtained by TMZ on Tuesday of Lohan's Long Island neighborhood, it was clear that the hurricane has wreaked havoc in Lohan's hometown.

The photos even showed boats that were dumped on people's lawns.

Lohan tweeted before the storm's full impact, but she probably should have watched at least one weather report before forming an opinion, or at least just to get the name of the hurricane right. In her post she called it Hurricane Sally.

"WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i'm calling it Sally)..? Stop projecting negativity!"

But anyone who was panicking about the storm had a perfect reason to do so.

Dina Lohan told TMZ that a tree was uprooted from her property and hit her roof on its way down, causing a gash in her home.

That same tree eventually wound up in the Lohan's family in-ground pool.

The Hollywood mom explained to the website that everyone was okay and that her children Ali and Cody were with her during the storm.
