Donald Trump has released a video criticizing President Obama for refusing the meet the deadline of the real estate mogul’s “October Surprise.”

Trump posted a video on his Facebook page decrying Obama’s supposed lack of transparency. In the video, Trump called Thursday a “very, very sad day” because Obama did not meet Trump’s deadline to release his college transcripts and passport by 5 p.m. on Thursday.

“President Obama has missed the deadline, and now a charity of his choice will not be receiving $5 million, or as I stated, potentially much more than $5 million,” Trump said in the beginning of his video.

“All the president had to do is give simple documentation, simple paper, a few pages and a charity would have gotten $5 million, or substantially more,” Trump said in the video. “Whether it was Wounded Warriors, whether it was the American Cancer Society, whether it was even the relatives of the victims of Beghazi, which I think would be an appropriate situation, the president decided that he wouldn’t be doing it.”

Trump made the charity offer last month as part of a hyped-up “October Surprise,” stating that if Obama released his college transcripts and passport applications, Trump would donate $5 million to a charity of the president’s choice.

Obama did not play ball with Trump’s offer, joking about the absurdity of Trump’s “October Surprise” on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.” Additionally, on Sunday, Obama suspended his campaign to focus on aiding relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Sandy and has not made any politically-motivated appearances.

“In fact, just the opposite: He spent millions of dollars in legal fees to keep his records secret. There’s a total lack of transparency,” the mogul added. “Someday, those papers will come out and people will say, ‘You know what? Donald Trump was right.’ This is very, very sad day for the United States of America.”
