Editor's Note (5/1/2012, 8:15 PM): Eminem's publicist confirmed for the Huffington Post UK that the Twitter account Angry_Blonde is fake and not Hailie Mathers. A similar account in March 2011 was created and also proved to be just a hoax, according to E! News.
It may seem like just yesterday that Eminem released songs about his little daughter, Hailie Mathers, but now she is all grown up at 16-years-old, but that doesn't stop her from getting goosebumps when hearing her dad's music.
Hailie Mathers, who has been quite sheltered away from the limelight of her father's rap career, was discovered on Twitter and Tumblr back in January. On Twitter, @Angry_Blonde tweets about her father, frequently calling her father the best and supporting his endeavors.
Im so happy that I got to spend a lot of time with my dad even though how busy he is, he is the best <3, she tweeted on April 9.
Countless websites like Global Grind posted photos taken from Mathers' social media accounts, noting that the 16-year-old has grown up to be a balanced young adult, despite her upbringing.
As the subject of many songs growing up, Hailie Jade was born amidst a tumultuous relationship with her father, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, and his then-wife Kimberley Anne Scott. Eminem highlighted his struggle to be a good father with joint custody of Hailie Jade in songs such as Hailie's Song, My Dad's Gone Crazy, and 97 Bonnie & Clyde, which she was featured in.
Nowadays, when she listens to lyrics from her father written when she was a child, she feels nostalgic.
wow so ur hailie the little girl ur dad sings aboult...Is it crazy to hear those songs now that u r older? one user tweeted on April 19.
everytine i listen to them is like the first tim, i get goosebumps, Hailie wrote back.
One user suggested that Hailie, who appears to enjoy skateboarding judging from her Twitter account, should start writing her own music and follow in her father's footsteps, to which she replied, who knows!!
As for her father, Eminem most recently appeared at Coachella 2012, where he joined Snoop and Dre for I Need a Doctor and Forgot About Dre and performed Til I Collapse on his own.
