It’s been a year since the world has heard any new music from Eminem but on the day of the third presidential debate, the rapper has surprised his fans with a new song titled “Campaign Speech.”

“Jumped out of the second floor of a record store with a Treacherous Four cassette and a cassette recorder in Ecuador with Edward Norton,” Eminem raps in the opening line of the song. With an extremely minimalistic beat, Eminem throws out punch line after punch line as he raps for nearly eight minutes, making references about Colin Kaepernick, Robin Thicke and Republican U.S. presidential nominee Donald Trump.

“You say Trump don’t kiss a-- like a puppet / Cause he runs his campaign with his own cash for the funded / And that’s what you wanted / A f-----’ loose cannon who’s blunt with his hand on the button / Who doesn’t have to answer to no one / Great idea,” Eminem raps.

The new song isn’t the only news the rapper revealed. On Twitter, Eminem also said he was working on a new album. “Don’t worry I’m working on an album!,” he wrote. It’s been three years since Eminem last released an album, 2013’s “The Marshall Mathers LP 2.”

Following the release of the the “Shady XV” compilation album in 2014 and the “Southpaw” soundtrack in 2015, Eminem has stayed pretty low-key, only appearing on a few songs from other artists such as the remix to The Weeknd’s “The Hills” and Yelawolf’s “Best Friend.”

Eminem didn’t reveal any more information about a new album and it’s unknown what direction he will take with a new project but with a new song out, expect more information soon.
