On Thursday, it was reported that staff members who work on the Fox series filed an official complaint due to the actress’ aggressive behavior towards them. Long’s unpleasant impression that she left on others is the reason why it is rumored that she will not be asked back for Season 4.

Several members of the cast, production and crew alleged that Long was disrespectful and unprofessional during her time on set, TMZ reported. Actors from the series told the media outlet that due to her behavior they would never work with her again.

Long is scheduled to appear on the show as a character named Giuliana who is a part of the gangster world and is looking obtain a deal with Empire. This means she has to come face-to-face with Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) and Lucious (Terrence Howard).

The scenes that viewers will see during “Empire” Season 3 with Long in them were reportedly difficult to shoot. Sources from the set have said that Long was “habitually late,” at times showing up to set 30 minutes after her call time. Her tardiness was reportedly so much of an issue that a stand in was used so Henson and Howard could rehearse their scenes.

Sources also allege that Long was so rude to the hair and makeup team that they filed a complaint, which is the first complaint filed by the staff in the show’s history.

This behavior reportedly rubbed Henson the wrong way who was so upset over the treatment staff received from Long that producers could barely film a scene with the two actresses.

Since the report, Long’s rep has denied any diva behavior coming from the actress. “We stand by our comments this morning that Nia has always, and continues to be, a consummate professional on set,” the rep stated.

The statement went on to explain that Long did the show as a favor for Howard due to their “long-standing friendship and professional relationship.” Despite her history with Howard, it doesn’t look like Long will be returning for Season 4 of the series.
