On Tuesday, Kanye West arrived for a meeting at Trump Tower in New York City with President-elect Donald Trump. Sporting his new blonde hair, Kanye made his way to the elevator, surrounded by an entourage which included a videographer. While it was originally reported that the “Famous” rapper had scheduled the meeting with Trump, we now have new information about their sit-down, including a potential follow-up meeting.

The Secret Service Said Kanye Wasn’t A Threat

While the rapper may have had some mental health issues in recent days, the Secret Service saw no reason to consider Kanye a threat. According to TMZ, one Secret Service official told the site, “Personal problems that Mr. West is working through does not establish him as a security threat to President-elect Trump.”

They Both Scheduled The Meeting

Although it was believed that Kanye setup the meeting between the two, the Daily Beast reports it was mutual. Trump’s transition team communications director Jason Miller said the two met because Trump “is going to be president for all Americans.” Miller said Kanye had “positive things to say about the president-elect” and Trump wants to “reach out to people both from traditional and nontraditional political viewpoints.”

Trump Said They Were Friends

While the two didn’t delve into details about their meeting, Trump did say he and Kanye have “been friends for a long time” and discussed “life.” As Kanye exited Trump Tower, Trump told the rapper he would “see him soon.”

Kanye West The Ambassador?

Although Trump nor Kanye revealed what they discussed, a source for E! News said Kanye talked about becoming an “ambassador of sorts” and went on to say that Trump is interested in getting the rapper in an “entrepreneurial leadership role.”

Corey Gamble Was There

It’s uncertain why he was there but Kris Jenner’s boyfriend, Corey Gamble, was in attendance at Trump Tower with West. It appears Gamble was accompanying Kanye as he visits New York. Also with Kanye was creative director Eli Linnetz, who produced the music videos for “Fade” and “Famous.”

Kanye Left Trump A Gift

Before leaving his meeting with the president-elect, Kanye gave Trump a gift: a photo book, which according to TMZ, includes nude pictures.
