On Monday, Kanye West took a trip to New York City reportedly in search of a finding a psychiatrist for when he visits the East Coast but it appears the rapper had other plans on his schedule as well.

According to video from C-SPAN, the rapper, accompanied by his entourage, arrived for a meeting on Tuesday at Trump Tower. Sporting a black crewneck sweater, black sweatpants and his new blonde hair, the rapper kept his hands in his pockets as he made his way to an elevator.

It’s uncertain why the “Famous” rapper is meeting with President-elect Donald Trump, but according to TMZ, Kanye requested to meet with Trump for a 15-minute sitdown. In November, the rapper voiced his support for Trump, telling a concert crowd in San Jose, California, that he didn’t vote in the U.S. Presidential election but if he did, he would have voted for Trump.

Kanye went on to say that Trump’s approach was “absolutely genius” because it worked. “There’s nonpolitical methods to speaking that I like, that I feel were very futuristic. And that style, and that method of communication, has proven that it can beat a politically correct way of communication,” the rapper said, adding that he was a fan of the style.

The rapper is coming off a recent eight-day hospital stay which took place shortly after his Trump rant. After performing just three songs at a Sacramento show, the rapper walked off the stage. Two days later, Kanye canceled the remaining 21 dates on his Saint Pablo tour.

After being released from the hospital, it was reported that Kanye was doing better and had got back to recording music in a studio he had built in his Bel-Air, California, home.
