A would-be NBA fan dealt with criticism from countless Twitter trolls on Tuesday after he mistook Miami Heat star LeBron James for Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose.

The Twitter user, who goes by the handle “@mouqeet_,’ took to the social media site to reveal that his sister had posed for a picture with “Derrick Rose.” There was only one problem—he’d identified the wrong NBA star.

Mouqeet’s sister didn’t meet Rose; she met James, a four-time NBA MVP, major crossover entertainment star and quite possibly the most recognizable athlete on the planet.

The faux pas is already a huge hit among Twitter users. Since it was posted on Tuesday night at 8:47 p.m., the photo of James with three young women has received over 1,000 retweets and nearly 1,000 favorites.

Mouqeet’s mistake also drew several sardonic responses from fans who couldn’t believe that he’d mixed up two of the league’s best players. International Business Times compiled several of these tweets, which can be viewed below.

Still, the young man doesn’t seem to be too upset about his dubious fame. “LMAO I MADE THE AMERICAN NEWS DAMNNNNNN,” he wrote on Wednesday.
