FLASH: Prepare for Important Announcement, Says WikiLeaks

The global whistle-blower website WikiLeaks is not going to stop with the leak of 143,000 cables and naming of 170 sources in the last few days. It has put out a message on twitter which reads: Prepare for an important announcement.

Wikileaks has fallen out with several media outlets which published its earlier leaks, including the The New York Times and The Guardian in the UK.

Founded by Australian former hacker Julian Assange, WikiLeaks came to prominence last year with the publication of millions of diplomatic cables sent by American diplomats around the world.
