Florida Man Caught Masturbating Inside Lobby Of West Palm Beach DMV: Edward Michael Alvin Arrested, Charged With Indecent Exposure [PHOTO]

A 34-year-old Florida man is facing a charge of indecent exposure after he was allegedly seen masturbating in a DMV office in West Palm Beach.

Edward Michael Alvin, of Palm Springs, allegedly exposed himself around 11 a.m. Friday in the lobby of a Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles office in West Palm Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said in a report obtained Tuesday by the Sun-Sentinel. About 11 people allegedly observed Alvin masturbating in the DMV, according to the paper.

An off-duty officer with the Delray Police Department who was in the DMV office at the time told Alvin to stop masturbating, but he allegedly wouldn’t stop. He was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail on an indecent exposure charge and released Friday night, according to sheriff’s office records.

The arrest wasn’t the first for Alvin. According to the Sun-Sentinel, the Palm Springs man was collared in July after he allegedly stole his ex-boss’ car and crashed it while drunk. He was ordered to pre-trial diversion, the paper reported.
