Florida primary polls are open now and nearly 16 percent of the Republican voters have already cast their votes in early and absentee ballots.

Voting is from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in respective time zones while results will be announced at 8 p.m. EST.

Top two contenders Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich will be spending their day in Florida at different campaign events and polling precinct visits. Santorum will be attending a campaign rally at Lone Tree, Colorado.

Ron Paul has a hectic schedule with three campaign events at Colorado, followed by one event at Nevada which is at 5:30 p.m.

Primary Night Watch Parties

Romney is expected to watch the primary results at the Tampa Convention Centre in Florida. He will be arriving at the centre by 7:45 p.m.

Newt Gingrich is going to hold the Florida election night party at Rosen Centre Hotel in Florida at 8:00 p.m.

Santorum has announced that he will hold the primary night watch party in Las Vegas, Nevada, at 7:30 p.m.

Ron Paul, who is not campaigning in Florida, is expected to watch the primary results at Nevada.
