Rapper Clifford “T.I.” Harris wants his fans to know that Floyd Mayweather did not give him a black eye during their Memorial Day Weekend brawl in Las Vegas, despite rumors to the contrary.

In the wake of the fistfight, which occurred early Sunday morning at a Fatburger restaurant on the Vegas strip, T.I. posted a video to his Instagram account to dispel the notion that Mayweather had damaged his face during the altercation. Internet rumors suggested that the 33-year-old rapper had suffered two black eyes after he confronted Mayweather, reportedly over the boxer’s interactions with his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle.

“What they say, I got two black eyes?" T.I. said, while holding a camera to his uninjured face. “Where they at, though? These ones I’m looking at, they’re black? For real? Damn, been like that all my life.”

While T.I. apparently did not suffer a black eye, he did reveal that he’d suffered a hand injury during the fight. “F---ed my hand up, that’s about it,” he added.

T.I. has since deleted the video from his Instagram account. However, TMZ captured the footage, which can be found below.

Eyewitnesses told TMZ that Mayweather was eating at the Fatburger restaurant when T.I. approached him to start an argument. At some point, the rapper reportedly threw a punch at Mayweather before bodyguards from both sides engaged in a massive, chair-throwing brawl. A video taken by a bystander captured Mayweather yelling “control your b----" at T.I.

In an interview with Necole Bitchie, a gossip website, Mayweather said that T.I. had confronted him once before in New York over his alleged relationship with Cottle. She and a friend reportedly attended Mayweather’s party in Las Vegas over Memorial Day Weekend, which prompted T.I. to confront him for a second time.

“I’m eating at Fatburger and next thing you know, [T.I.] walk in talking about we need to talk again,” Mayweather told the website. “And then I told him, ‘You need to get the f--- out of my face.’”

Mayweather denies that he ever engaged in a relationship with Cottle. “I’m not sleeping with that girl [Tiny], and I told that man before,” he added. “But I’m not going to be disrespectful because I’m not going to sleep with a married woman.”
