Krispy Kreme is giving away a free doughnut on Oct. 31 for anyone who shows up at participating locations wearing their Halloween costume. It's like trick-or-treating at a doughnut shop!

That's right, a free Halloween-themed doughnut just for wearing your costume with no purchase necessary!

Anyone who stops by participating Krispy Kreme wearing their Halloween costumes on Oct. 31 will receive a free Halloween or pumpkin spice doughnut. All you have to do is bring a copy of the advertisement or show it on a mobile phone to get the free Halloween doughnut.

Customers who visit the participating stores will get a choice between the Krispy Skremes doughnut varieties for free:

  • Jack-o-Lantern Doughnut: A pumpkin-shaped doughnut wearing a mask of orange icing and a jack-o-lantern face.
  • Chocolate Iced with Halloween Sprinkles Doughnut: A festive orange and black sprinkled doughnut.
  • Spider Web Doughnut: A chocolate-iced doughnut with Kreme® filling caught in a tasty web of white icing.
  • Pumpkin Spice Doughnut: An old-fashioned cake doughnut made with pumpkin flavors and spices and finished with Krispy Kreme's Original Glaze®.

    The free doughnut offer is the last chance to get a Krispy Skremes doughnut, as they will retired after Oct. 31. The pumpkin spice doughnuts are limited as well and will end on Nov. 27.

    Krispy Kreme is also running a contest for best Halloween family photo until Nov. 4. Five winners will be selected among the applicant pool for a Spook-Tacular Prize Pack of a free t-shirt, coffee, hat, mug, and one dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts a month for a year for free.
