The Chicago Bulls have beaten the Atlanta Hawks to take a 3-2 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinal series. The final score at the United Center in Chicago was 95-83.

Derrick Rose scored 33 points and Luol Deng added 23 points for the Bulls. Rose made 11 of 24 shots and had nine assists. It was a huge improvement over Game 4 when he took 32 shots to score 34 points.

Game 6 will be on Thursday in Atlanta. Chicago is one win away from its first conference finals appearance since 1998, when Michael Jordan retired.

Josh Smith added 16 points for the Hawks and Jeff Teague had 21 points.
