The Game, born Jayceon Terrell Taylor, is sick and tired of having to deal with his “fake” friends, so the famous rapper has decided to cut all ties with them as his New Year’s resolution this 2017. The “92 Bars” hitmaker voiced out this strong message via social media this week.

On Monday, The Game took to Instagram to share a photo of him as he holds a glass of wine. While the hip hop artist could be seen flashing a smile sideways in the photo, the caption that accompanied it was nowhere near friendly. According to The Game, he intends to cut the people he thought were his real friends but turned out to be “fake” this 2017. He expressed his message strongly by cursing at these people without naming names.

Many of The Game’s fans were pleased with his New Year’s resolution. One fan wrote: “You are so blunt but true to your feelings! Do what is best for you and that is cutting the jealous and negative people out of your life.” Another chimed in: “No time for fake friends. Better to keep your circle small.”

One of the hashtags he used in his post also hinted at the rapper’s plan for this year. Based on the “#MeMyselfAndMyKids” hashtag, it’s clear that the “Bigger Than Me” rapper wants to allot his attention to his children — Harlem Caron, King Justice and California Dream — this 2017.

Last year, The Game got into a big feud with fellow rapper Meek Mill. The two artists even exchanged some words and challenged each other via social media. Both camps also released diss tracks against each other.

As The Game looks forward to starting fresh this year, he is back to making new music for his fans. However, the “My Life” hitmaker has already revealed back in December that this upcoming album could be his last, as first reported by Xpose.ie. In a concert in Moscow, Russia, The Game told the crowd that when he returns to Los Angeles, he’ll be writing his next album, which is going to be titled “Westside Story.” He promised them that the album will be amazing, but that it would probably be his last.
