Cersei Lannister
Cersei Lannister (Lena Heady) has crossed a lot of people since her introduction to “Game of Thrones,” and it seems they may all finally come back to haunt her in Season 7. HBO

The Lannisters may finally get their just deserts in Season 7 of “Game of Thrones.” While the show will not return to HBO until summer 2017, eager fans have been camped outside various sets hoping to catch a glimpse of what’s to come. Many have come away with serious spoilers, including some new information about a massive ambush on the Seven Kingdoms’ ruling family.

El Periodica Extremadura was able to snag photos from a “Game of Thrones” shoot in Barrueco de Arriba, Spain, on Sunday which they believe shows one of the biggest sneak attacks in the show’s history. The scene features members of the Dothraki army — currently fighting for Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) — carrying out an attack on caravans. While only the Dothraki are visible, the site speculates that the “Game of Thrones” crew will be adding in the target of their attack later. El Periodica Extremadura also notes that the caravans were previously spotted leaving Highgarden filled with goods.

To make matters more interesting, Spanish-language spoiler site Los Siete Reinos confirmed on Nov. 19 that the Lannisters will be marching with the caravans. Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Bronn (Jerome Flynn) were spotted on the set by sneaky fans. It does not appear that Daenerys will be accompanying the Dothraki on their mission. Los Siete Reinos reports that Clarke was in Belfast, Ireland, when the scene was filmed. The site notes that the scene is not done filming, which leaves some time for her to return and make an appearance.

Should both El Periodica Extremadura and Los Siete Reinos be right in their speculation, Season 7 of “Game of Thrones” may just be the most action-packed to date. Watchers on the Wall previously reported that the season will feature one of the biggest battles the HBO original series has ever seen. On Nov. 1, an alarming number of “Game of Thrones” stars were spotted in Seville, Spain. The site speculated that they were there to film a massive fight scene in which they will be utilizing preexisting ruins, called the Italica Ruins. The location will serve as the Dragonpit, a massive fighting arena.

There will also be a number of individual faceoffs during Season 7 of “Game of Thrones,” according to set photos. Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) were scene scrapping beachside on Oct. 25. Theon will also apparently take on his uncle Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk ), who may or may not have kidnapped Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan).
