The White Walkers will likely present a major problem for the Seven Kingdoms in Season 7 of “Game of Thrones.” HBO

The “Game of Thrones” Season 7 premiere is slowly approaching. The closer it gets, the more excited fans get about what’s to come.

Those connected to “Game of Thrones” have been quiet about what’s to come in the penultimate season. Eager fans have gone above and beyond to gather even the slightest clues. Thanks to set photos, potentially leaked scripts, slips of the tongue from actors and a jaw-dropping trailer, we’ve got something to work with.

Here are 19 spoilers and theories we hope are true about “Game of Thrones” Season 7:

Daenerys Targaryen Will Return Home To Dragonstone

HBO released the first official trailer for “Game of Thrones” on Thursday. The trailer, titled “The Long Walk,” showed Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and other leaders walking to their thrones. The short clip raised questions about the kingdom the Mother of Dragons is inside — could it be Dragonstone?

Jaime Will Turn On Cersei Lannister

With Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) in a position of power, her relationship with Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) is bound to change. The siblings turned lovers can’t carry on if they want their kingdom to thrive. Coster-Waldau teased a new perspective for his character, suggesting that his relationship with Cersei is unhealthy.

“Jaime’s addicted to something — almost institutionalized by a situation to where there is no other way,” he told Daily Beast. “For Jaime, there is no other way. He’s been groomed since he was 15 that, whatever his life is, it starts and ends with Cersei...He’s done that his whole life, and he’s reached a moment now where he suddenly has to address it.”

What exactly that means is unclear. When asked if Jaime would turn on Cersei, Coster-Waldau played it coy. He provided no real answer, but did entertain theories.

“That’s a great theory,” he said with a smile after the interview asked if Jaime will kill Cersei.

Arya Stark’s Direwolf Will Return

Direwolves were once a large part of “Game of Thrones.” Discovered in Season 1 and given to each of the Starks, they served as loyal protectors. Almost as soon as they were discovered, they began getting killed off.

Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) sent hers away in Season 1, shortly after the death of Sansa’s (Sophie Turner) wolf. Nymeria hasn’t been seen since that moment, but “Game of Thrones” fans may see her return in Season 7. Instinct Animals For Film recently shared photos of Ghost and another wolf, which resembled Nymeria, on their Instagram.

Additionally, Watchers on the Wall reported that the organization was in Calgary, Canada, for a “Game of Thrones” shoot at the same time as Williams. Could this mean Nymeria’s back to protect Williams? We sure hope so.

Sansa Stark Will Go On A “Power Trip”

Sansa’s been through a lot — she spent some time imprisoned by the Lannisters only to wind up Ramsay Bolton’s (Iwan Rheon) torture toy. Now that she’s free and in a position of power, Sansa’s got a big head. Turner teased a rift ahead, blaming her character’s inflated ego.

“She’s seemingly in control for the first time — and it really suits her,” Turner told Entertainment Weekly. “She’s kind of having a bit of a power trip. But she’s also becoming more insecure, because there are threats to the power that she holds.”

The Starks — And Jon Snow — Will Reunite

Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) reclaimed Winterfell, but their kingdom’s nothing without family. Arya (Maisie Williams) and Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) are still spread across the Seven Kingdoms. In “Game of Thrones” Season 6, both were closer than ever before to returning home — will they make it in Season 7?

Photos from the set suggest a Stark family reunion is in the works. Photos published by Watchers on the Wall show Arya and Bran filming scenes together. Sleuthing fans saw Harington on the same set later that same day.

What does this mean for “Game of Thrones” Season 7? HERE are some theories.

The Lannisters Will Get Ambushed

El Periodica Extremadura snagged photos from the “Game of Thrones” set that tease a major ambush. The pictures, taken in Barrueco de Arriba, Spain, show members of the Dothraki army attacking Lannister caravans. The site notes that the same caravans were previously spotted leaving Highgarden filled with goods.

Los Siete Reinos confirmed that the Lannisters will be marching with the caravans. Fans saw Jaime and Bronn (Jerome Flynn) on set. It doesn’t appear that Daenerys will join the Dothraki for the attack, though it’s possible.

Jon And Daenerys Will Meet

Fans snapped photos of Jon and Daenerys on the “Game of Thrones” set in Spain together. It’s hard to gather any context from the photos and videos, but it’s clear that they’ll finally meet in Season 7. It’s not clear where they are in the photos, but some think it’s Dragonstone.

The nature of their relationship is unclear. Some believe the pair — who are unaware that they’re related — will learn the truth. Others seem to think they may fall for one another. In fact, Thronies have derived a wild theory about how “Game of Thrones” will end based around their relationship. Read more HERE.

The Seven Kingdoms Will Get Serious About Fighting White Walkers

Jon has made it his mission to spread the word about the White Walkers. Most have been hesitant to believe him, which will push him to extremes in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. The Warden of the North will reportedly bring a waight (a member of the undead army) to the Dragonpit, forcing leaders in King’s Landing to take him seriously.

Gilly Will Break Out Of Her Shell

In November, it was widely reported that the “Game of Thrones” Season 7 plot leaked. In it were claims that Gilly’s continued quest to learn to read will lead her to some interesting information. She’ll reportedly stumble upon a book in the Citadel library containing information about Jon’s lineage.

Littlefinger Will Die

The alleged leak contained plenty of interesting spoilers, including some major character deaths. A Reddit post related to the leak claimed Littlefinger (Aiden Gillen) would die. The post suggested that Sansa would order him killed after his failed attempts to turn her on her sister.

A Huge Dragonpit Battle Will Commence

“Game of Thrones” fans should brace for the bloodiest battle in show history in Season 7. Early in filming reports surfaced that the show would be filming in Spain, utilizing local sites. Among those featured were the Italica Ruins, which Vanity Fair and Watchers on the Wall speculated would represent the Dragonpit.

In the books, the Dragonpit is a major fighting arena dug into the ground high above King’s Landing. Cast sightings in the area created speculation that a major fight will take place there in Season 7. Some of the many stars spotted on that set include Daenerys, Jon, Theon, Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham), Cersei, Jaime, The Mountain (Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson) and more.

Euron Greyjoy And Cersei Will Team Up

Cersei may form an unlikely alliance in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. The queen of the Seven Kingdoms will team up with Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk), according to Watchers on the Wall. The spoiler group reports that this is the most logical move, as his hopes of wooing Daenerys will likely prove futile.

Euron Will Die

In October, TMZ published a series of photos that appear to capture Euron’s death. Early in the photo set, he and Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) seem to be talking. Talking leads to the throwing of fists, and it looks like Euron won’t fare well in the fight.

Theon Greyjoy And Jon Snow Will Face Off

Fan photos, obtained by Celebuzz, show one of Theon and Jon’s first meetings since Season 2. Their reunion’s tense — and understandably so. Theon did get Robb Stark (Richard Madden) killed, after all.

In one photo Jon grabs Theon by the chest, pulling him in close. How will the tension between them play out if Jon and Daenerys join forces? We’ll have to tune in to “Game of Thrones” to find out.

Gendry Will Return

In “Game of Thrones” Season 3, Gendry (Joe Dempsie) hopped in a row boat and sailed off into nothing. He’s been gone since, but not forgotten. Fans have seen him on the “Game of Thrones” set several times and are hopeful he’ll be back in Season 7.

Reddit user Sethg119 even formulated a theory about how he may return. According to the post, “Game of Thrones” fans can expect to cross paths with Gendry again in Oldtown. The user speculated that Sam, who’s studying to be a maester, will lead viewers back to Gendry.

“I believe we will cross paths with Gendry again in Oldtown when Sam starts his studies as a maester,” Sethg119 wrote. “I believe that Sam will study the creation of Valyrian Steel and will require a smith. He will then go to the smith that resides in Oldtown who will be no other than Gendry.”

Jorah Mormont Will Have His Greyscale Cured

Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) was once Daenerys’ most loyal subject. She cast him away (more than once, actually), telling him not to return until he found a cure for his greyscale. That time may come in “Game of Thrones” Season 7.

Set photos have shown Glenn shooting scenes. Unless creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are trying to pull a fast one on fans, he’ll be back. Should he return, there’s no way he’ll be able to stay away from his Khaleesi.

Rhaegar Targaryen Will Appear

When Season 6 ended, Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) had all but confirmed the R + L = J theory. This lead many to believe that Rhaegar Targaryen — believed to be Jon’s father — may finally make his “Game of Thrones” debut. With that idea out in the universe, Thronies began speculating about who would play him.

In the midst of all that Rhaegar buzz, musician Devin Oliver shared a photo that seemingly provided an answer. He shared a picture on Instagram of him holding a bow and arrow, writing that he “may or may not” have landed a role on “Game of Thrones.” While he gave no indication of what that role might be, his bleach blonde locks suggest he may be playing the elder Targaryen.

Those familiar with George R.R. Martin’s writing know that Rhaegar is dead. If he does appear, it will likely be in the form of a flashback. Get acquainted with Rhaegar HERE.

Daenerys And Daario Naharis Will Get Together

“Game of Thrones” fans have seen men come and go in Daenerys’ life from her earliest moments on the show. While no love interest will ever compare to Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa), we’re ready for the Mother of Dragons to find a new man. Who better for her than Daario Naharis (Michiel Huisman), her loyal henchman?

Huisman touched on his potential return in Season 7 during an interview with ET Online. While he said he was under strict orders not to spoil too much, we wouldn’t count him out. Huisman said he and the rest of the “Game of Thrones” cast have learned to expect the unexpected.

“Being part of ‘Game of Thrones,’ you’re always expecting your character to die,” he said. “You’re not mentally preparing yourself for a very long haul.”

If he does return, we’re crossing our fingers he and Daenerys find their way to one another.

Be sure to catch “Game of Thrones” when it returns to HBO July 16.
