A dashboard camera footage of George Zimmerman being arrested after his estranged wife Shellie said he was threatening to shoot her Monday has emerged. The couple was allegedly fighting over infidelity accusations when things apparently became violent outside Zimmerman's home in Lake Mary, Fla. Shellie has since has recanted her story, saying that there never was a gun.

It starts out with officers yelling at Zimmerman, who was accused of killing Trayvon Martin, to step away from the vehicle. They then tell him to put his hands on the top of the car and then walk backward about 40 yards toward police with his hands up.

Authorities took the threat that Zimmerman allegedly made seriously and shouted at him to get down on the ground before walking over to handcuff him and put him in the back of the police vehicle. As one officer approached with the handcuffs, another pointed a gun at his head. Then several other officers stormed the vehicle that he was first standing near.

Though his lawyer Mark O’Mara rushed to his client’s aid, the defense attorney revealed Tuesday he would not be defending Zimmerman any longer, even though both Zimmerman and his estranged wife could face charges because of yesterday’s domestic dispute, ABC News wrote.

Shellie said she had footage of the event on her iPad, but added that Zimmerman broke the device. Investigators are trying to watch the video of the conflict.

Twitter has gone wild, once more, with some comparing Zimmerman to O.J. Simpson and many saying Zimmerman believes he is above the law. Check out the video below, courtesy of TMZ:
