The NFL will have a moment of silence before all games this weekend.

To honor the lives lost in Friday's mass shooting at a Connecticut elementary school, the New York Giants will wear a special decal on their helmets, when they face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

According to the team's Web site, the decal will have the letters "S.H.E.S." for Sandy Hook Elemantary School in Newtown, a town that is located about 60 miles northeast of New York City. There have been 20 children and six adults reported dead from the shooting massacre, which has garnered international attention.

There will be a moment of silence prior to every kickoff for the NFL weekend. The Giants will be on the road for their Sunday matchup, while the New York Jets host the Tennessee Titans at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Monday evening.
