Cheyenne Jackson, the handsome star of Glee, married his longtime partner in a beachfront ceremony on Labor Day weekend.

Jackson, who plays Vocal Adrenaline coach Dustin Goolsby, married physicist Monte Lapka in the Hamptons on Saturday, less than two months after New York legalized same sex-marriages.

The actor made the announcement via Twitter on Saturday: It's official, after 11 years together, Zora's no longer a bastard. Married the best man I've ever known.

Zora is the couple's dog, who Jackson has referred to as their daughter.

The 36-year old with the steely blue stare was born and raised in a small town in Iowa, and his family initially had trouble accepting his sexual orientation. The have since come around.

Jackson is an ambassador for amFAR, the foundation for AIDS research.
