General Motors will likely impose limits on assembly of certain Opel models in Russia under a deal to sell the car maker to a consortium of Magna and Sberbank, an industry source said on Thursday.

A source close to Russian car maker GAZ, which is set for the role of industrial partner to the Magna/Sberbank consortium, could not say which models were in question.
