Marina Benedict and Benjamin Stockham have joined the cast of “Gotham” Season 4. Fox

People have been abuzz with the introduction of Sofia Falcone (Crystal Reed) in “Gotham” Season 4, since she’s said to be Jim Gordon’s (Ben McKenzie) newest ally and possible love interest. However, she isn’t the only one who is about to bring excitement to the Fox show.

According to TV Line, “Prison Break” star Marina Benedict has been cast as Cherry, the owner of a fight club in The Narrows, which is considered to be Gotham City’s most dangerous neighborhood. She’s described as someone “edgy and tough,” and she will reportedly be an ally to Ed Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) and Solomon Grundy (Drew Powell).

Meanwhile, Benjamin Stockham is set to guest star as Alex Winthrop. He will befriend Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) and is said to be “the bookish grandson of a museum curator whom Bruce comes in contact with when tracking a mysterious artifact.” When things go seriously wrong, the two of them go on the run, forcing Bruce to make a difficult decision.

As far as alliances go, Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) and Tabitha Galavan (Jessica Lucas) will surprisingly team up again so they can train Selina Kyle (Carmen Bicondova) to become the Catwoman. “Yeah, Tabitha is mentoring Selina [as Season 4 begins] and then finds out that Barbara is still alive. She’s initially furious, but I think the plan is to have them come back together,” Lucas told Fansided. “I think that will be such an interesting relationship and dynamic to explore. I think Barbara is a bit more maternal and loving in the way that she teaches Selina. Tabitha is a bit more tough love.”

They are even going to start their own business again, and it’s going to be something different from their nightclub in Season 3 called The Sirens.

Fans are hoping that Babs, Tabs and Selina’s union will mark the beginning of the Gotham City Sirens, but it looks like that will take some time. “We haven’t really dived into that yet as of right now. I think that eventually it will happen,” Bicondova told Heroic Hollywood.

“Gotham” Season 4 will premiere on Fox on Sept. 21.
