The 2012 Grammy Awards take place Sunday evening at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will certainly be memorable and somber, after the passing of the legendary Whitney Houston on Saturday night. Artists Jennifer Hudson and Chaka Khan are set to honor the late singer with a performance Sunday night.
As is popular during awards season, the 2012 Grammys will be live streamed online, beginning at 8 p.m. EST (5 p.m. local time). The red carpet arrivals will also be available via live stream, starting at 5 p.m. EST. Here is where you can watch:

- MTV.com: MTV might be better known for Snooki than it is for its coverage of musical artists nowadays. However, the station is getting back to its roots on Sunday night and live streaming the 2012 Grammys red carpet arrivals directly on its Web site. MTV News' Sway and James Montgomery will be at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards covering all the action from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. EST.
The 2012 Grammys will be hosted by rapper LL Cool J. There is a list of highly anticipated performances including Coldplay and Rihanna; Foo Fighters; Bruno Mars; Paul McCartney; Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson; Nicki Minaj; Katy Perry; Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band; and Taylor Swift. Chris Brown, Tony Bennett and Carrie Underwood are set to hit the stage together.
Alicia Keys and Bonnie Raitt will perform a tribute to the late Etta James. Jennifer Hudson and Chaka Khan will perform to honor the late Whitney Houston.
