Is Veterans Day DLC coming to "GTA 5 Online"? Courtesy/Rockstar

Rockstar Games will launch “Grand Theft Auto 5” for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Nov. 18, but what about the current Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, which millions of people are still enjoying? Will the New York City-based developer continue to launch updates for the title, which reached seventh-generation devices one year ago? Will the developer release the long-rumored Veterans Day DLC next Tuesday?

The studio undoubtedly has a lot on its plate, but users hope it won’t neglect current players on last-gen consoles. Since more than 34 million copies of “GTA 5” have been sold on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the company can’t afford to ignore loyal players. In August, we discussed the possibility of a Veterans Day DLC, which seems pretty likely.

The new content, or update 1.18, may contain new military-themed weapons, clothing and armor, according to leaked source code from August.

The source code shows nine army face paints becoming available once the army DLC is downloaded. A Hydra jet is also included, alongside vertical flight mode and the possibility of a helicopter.

There’s still no word on whether heists will be part of update 1.18. The feature was not included in Rockstar’s most recent update, the Last Team Standing update, in early October. It's now November, and the highly anticipated heists feature, which was promised earlier this spring, is still nowhere to be found. Rockstar still hasn’t confirmed if heists are coming only to the eighth-generation devices and PC, but it’s questionable when the feature will be available.

“GTA 5” will launch for the PC in January, and it reaches the PS4 and Xbox One on Nov. 18.
