Family and friends of missing adventurer Harry Devert have set up an email account where anyone with information on the 32-year-old’s whereabouts can send in tips.

Devert, a New York resident who was traveling on a green Kawasaki motorcycle in Mexico, was last heard from on Jan. 25. Family and friends of Devert believe the missing adventurer was headed toward Zihuatanejo, Mexico, when he disappeared, according to the Help Find Harry Facebook page set up following his disappearance.

The account asks anyone with information on Devert’s whereabouts to email helpfindharry@hotmail.com. Devert’s girlfriend, Sarah Ashley Schiear, said her last contact with her boyfriend was when Harry texted her at 3:18 p.m. EST on Jan. 25.

“Just got an hour and a half long escort out of some area it was too dangerous for me to be. Stopping for lunch and ... voila Internet. ... Gonna get back on the road soon. Apparently there's another military escort waiting for me in some other town... I'm running way late because of the crazy military stuff...hopefully get a chance to talk to you tonight when I (hopefully) finally arrive,” Devert wrote.

His family said Devert is usually good at keeping in touch, which is what has them worried.

“My son is a great communicator and he always lets me know -- because I'm anxious -- as close as he can where he's going to be or if he's going to be out of touch," Devert’s mother, Ann Devert, told CNN. She said her son always calls on Jan. 29 – his father’s birthday. But that didn’t happen this year.

“I felt a misgiving, but I thought maybe it would be a couple of days,” Ann Devert said. “He didn’t call.”

Devert was reported missing near Michoacan state, a volatile area of Mexico where the dangerous Knights Templar drug cartel operates and where vigilantes are known to battle the cartel.

"This is an area in Michoacan that has been very dangerous," Ann Devert said.

According to the Facebook account, Devert’s debit card has shown no activity since he was reported missing. His cell phone is also no longer in service.

The U.S. embassy and Mexican authorities are investigating Devert’s disappearance. The French embassy has also been contacted because Devert has French citizenship.
