Noah Bennet's (Jack Coleman) past came back to haunt him on "Heroes Reborn" when his friend Quentin (Henry Zebrowski) betrayed him and took Tommy, a.k.a. Nathan (Robbie Kay), into Erica's (Rhya Kihlstedt) custody. Erica now has one Claire Bennet's (Hayden Panettiere) twins, who are the only two people who can stop her from executing her evil plan. Nathan joins Erica in the promo for episode 10, which is also the fall finale, titled "11:53 To Odessa."

The promo video reveals that Nathan will travel to the future along with Erica where he discovers all of society is gone. He tries to explain to Erica that he's supposed to stop the apocalypse from happening, but she tries to tell him that he can't stop it. To save humanity, Nathan may have to team with Erica, at least for the time being until he can be reunited with his sister.

In the final seconds of episode 9, Miko (Kiki Sukezane) was shown waking up in the future in the year 7957. Her destiny may not have been completed when she got Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) out of Evernow. She's shown walking through an empty desert in the promo.

Claire's daughter Malina (Danika Yarosh) will learn even more about her powers and is shown trying to protect people from some kind of force that has brought traffic to a stop. By the end of the promo, it looks like Bennet disappeared as all she's able to find are his glasses. What force will Malina be trying to stop and what is going to happen to her grandfather?

Old fan-favorite hero Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) has apparently gone over to the dark side, as he works for Erica and also serves as the director of the Sunstone. He uses his ability to control people's minds to serve Renautas and keep his evo prisoners under control. He discovered he may be able to get some use out of Carlos (Ryan Guzman) in episode 9, but it's unclear what intentions he has. Will Parkman remain a villain or will he turn back into the hero fans have come to know?
