“The Hills” actress Stephanie Pratt and British reality star Jonny Mitchell are no longer together. The exes have yet to divulge the reason behind the split, but it appears the end of their romantic relationship was quite messy.

On Tuesday, fans of the celebrity couple received shocking news when Mitchell’s rep issued a statement to Entertainment Tonight, announcing the breakup. “Jonny Mitchell and Stephanie Pratt have ended their relationship. Jonny has fond memories of the times they spent together and wishes Stephanie all the best of luck in the future.”

Neither Pratt nor her rep issued a statement to confirm the news, but the 31-year-old American celebrity already gave a hint Monday night when she took to her Instagram story to share a selfie with her mascara running down her face. The shot was even captioned “makeup by jm” to imply that she was having a tough time because of 26-year-old beau.

Pratt also posted emotional follow-up videos on social media when fans asked her about the tearful selfie. “To my wonderful followers that sent me supportive messages, don’t worry, tomorrow morning I’ll be back. I’ll be back strong, career oriented and independent, the Steph that I’ve always been,” she said in one of the clips.

The television personality kept her word Tuesday morning by posting a selfie that shows off her bold makeover. She took a swipe at the breakup announcement by captioning the snap: “Nothing can keep me down …” Pratt also credited her makeup artist for her post-split look.

Later that night, Pratt put on a brave face when she attended the OK! Beauty Awards in London. She reportedly dazzled at the event by wearing a plunging gold and black dress that emphasized her ample cleavage and curvy figure, according to Daily Mail.

Prior their breakup, Pratt revealed that she was planning to bring Mitchell to Los Angeles to meet her family. Her admission came just a few months after they started dating in August. Around the same time, an insider revealed that the couple appeared to be very serious with their romance that they were already thinking of tying the knot, OK! reported last week.
