Holly Madison, an ex-girlfriend of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and a former Playmate, recently took out a million-dollar insurance policy on her breasts, with Lloyds' of London. The report was confirmed by Madison, 31, to People magazine.

According to the reality star, she went ahead with the idea in order to protect herself and the others who appear with her in her Las Vegas production - Peepshow.

In the report, she said that she understood the importance of her body parts and thought she'd cover her assets.

I've heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, why not?, because if anything happened to my boobs, I'd be out for a few months and I'd probably be out a million dollars. I think it's funny. I think they're getting the credit they deserve. They're my primary money makers right now, she added.

According to Madison, the policy was necessary as she appears topless in several segments of her show.

Now, is that the weirdest thing ever? Not really! We have had celebrities behaving even more bizarrely, when it comes to a situation like this.

Model Heidi Klum is said to have insured her legs for $2 million and Jennifer Lopez was reported to have insured her backside for $S27 million, according to reports.

Also, according to a report on popwatch.ew.com, singers Dolly Parton and Celine Dion insured their breasts and voice, respectively and, topping the list of weirdness, is another singer - David Lee Roth - who insured his sperm!
