New York City is one pricey city, and its rental prices have been the hallmark of that fact. Thus far, in March of 2017, the most expensive rental apartment available in New York City is a sprawling apartment within Manhattan’s Pierre Hotel, Architectural Digest reported Wednesday.

The famed hotel – which has hosted guests like Prince Philip and rock stars – is located on the edge of Central Park, and has been deemed one of the top luxury hotels in the city. The full-floor apartment, currently available for rent, totals in at $500,000 a month.

It was even determined that, if one were to take all of their expenses into account, the overall cost of living in the city was at least 68.8 percent higher than the national average, SmartAsset reported at the end of 2016.

The six-room, fully furnished penthouse space in the Pierre Hotel features its own art collection and designer toiletries and even comes outfitted with technology by Bang & Olufsen. Residents can enjoy all of the same perks as an A-List guest at The Pierre: On-call chauffeured drives take place in a Jaguar XJL and the daily maid service is also available twice a day to clean and turn down the covers, according to the Corcoran listing.

Full access to the hotel’s business center and fitness center are available, also. With sweeping views of the park and Fifth Avenue, the co-op's features include gorgeous chandeliers, a private elevator, a living room resplendent in brocade and silk fabrics and bathrooms all designed in marble. The master bath includes a soaking tub as well as a rainfall shower.
